Brief summary of topics at Calvary Annual Meeting this Sunday, 1/31 at 9:30am

Dear Calvary Parishioners,
I hope that by now, you have adjusted to the snow...

We will have our annual meeting between services this Sunday at 9:30am.
All are invited to attend. People who are 16 and up, regularly attend and support the parish are eligible to vote.

We hope to have an electronic version of the Annual Report available soon.

Here is a brief summary of topics from my Rector's Report, that I thought you might find helpful.

  • It really matters to make a commitment to our Lord to worship each Sunday!

Sunday, Jan 24th, All services and events at Calvary are cancelled.

Well, that is quite a snow!

All services and events at Calvary are cancelled on Sunday, Jan 24th, and the buildings are closed.
It is a great time to worship at home. I suggest to focus on the Gospel:

Prayer of the Day
Read the Gospel once, ask each person "what struck you about this passage?"
Read it again, ask each person "how would I react to Jesus if I was there?"
Pray for family and friends, community, nation, world....
Lord's prayer
Pass the peace
Be safe.
God bless you all!
Fr. Harry
