Way of St. Paul

DISCOVERING OUR CHURCH AT IT’S BEST

On January 28th, 2018, Calvary Episcopal Church met for over 4 hours to complete the process of connecting as a parish community and providing feedback on the strengths that Calvary has as a Parish, and what Calvary envisions as a future for our church in Christ name. The event was a culmination of a joint partnership between the Way of St Paul team, the Discernment Team, our Vestry Leadership and our Interim Priest, Drew Kadel. The hosted conversation resulted in the following affirmation for Calvary’s identity and future:

Calvary Episcopal Church’s Core Essence is …expressed through the Joy We Feel as a Parish Family, worshiping God and Jesus together with Music and the Book of Common Prayer, welcoming and supporting new members of our community in God’s name.

Calvary Episcopal Church’s Wishes and Dreams…are to continue to grow our congregation through confidence in our mission as a church in our larger community, with ever increasing faith and spiritual leadership of our Parish Leadership.

Calvary Episcopal Church’s Stories…are filled with moments that include sharing multi-generational fellowship events, showing Calvary’s faith in our float in the holiday parade and or giving back through our community outreach like our participation in the Crop Walk.
